Return of the Jedi - The last of this trilogy.
This one is really great. It's 20th anniversary
I am in love with this one...it's printed on a 'onion skin' type parchment...it's really neat. Besides which - the art is amazing...MUST FRAME. (It would appear I am a framing junkie)

I like this one...Spooky. Don't know if i'd ever hang it on my wall...but it really is something. You know, I'd probably hang it in my office...if I ever have one.
I like this one a lot - but I am torn as to whether or not I want to frame it.

What a busy weekend!! I spend most of Saturday packing my bathroom and movies. Then conformed Act1 of the board...*sigh* I hate doing work on weekends.

It's my Dad's 50th Birthday - so we had a small gathering, opened presents, had a lovely dinner, and spent some good times with the family. Here are the pictures...I had to do 3 sets of uploads because this thing kicks out after a while...

So...after months, and months of house hunting I finally get a crack at my dream place.

A Gastown Loft.

Yes, it's small, and expensive, and yardless, and no furniture will fit there....

It's also about a 3 minute walk to work, has an insuite washer & dryer, dishwasher, full bathroom, garborator, skylight, and a fireplace- oh right and allows pets!!!

Make-Shift Thanksgiving

Hullo All,

Well, since my parents are in Fiji - I decided against my better judgment to make a make-shift thanksgiving dinner...nothing fancy.

No seriously.

I made a roast chicken, rice, and beans...

I also took a picture to prove to everyone that I can indeed cook. Suckas!

Pretty center piece I made. Our oak tree in the front survived all odds (abuse as a young sapling, poisoned by fuel, etc..) and produced some little acorns. I had been given chestnuts previously so I decided to make a nice autumn display for our dinning room table.

Mmm Chicken...Good.

Hey All,

So today I went to Harrison to scope out the sand castles. It was really fun, sans the cold (okay...yeah I caved it's looking like a cold)

While I was there I saw a baby Pug, 7 weeks old. He was resisting his harness and had firmly planted his bitty paws into the soft ground. His owner, a young boy tried pulling on the leash- so Baby Pug rolled over like a sausage - still refusing to walk on his own. At this point I had to go over and say hello. He was very soft and very indignant. So I took a picture.

The Weekend Ahead

Woke up at 9:30am today. Still have a sore throat, which seems to be making its way down my esophagus one inch at a time. Today it was accompanied by impaired vocal use and some slight hacking. I remain optimistic that this isn't a cold, but perhaps a selected part of the body on strike for higher wages and better benefits.

Still taking no chances I downed two C’s and some Echinacea this morning.
I suppose it’s a bit late in the game for all that, but hey, where I work ‘Late in the Game’ is our motto.

Tomorrow I might journey to Harrison Hot Springs with my dad and take some pictures of the sand castles.

I'll be back later, possibly toting more pictures....or some such thing

Today was work....and busy work at that. I spent most of my day fighting off a self-induced sore throat (I attribute that to the two cancer sticks I attacked myself with yesterday....) And just barely escaped out the door to meet my dad and catch the "early" train home.

I'm getting the feeling that Friday is begining to slack in the 'cool days of the week' poll. What gives?I mean, it's friday....it's not supposed to be busy, or hard, or stressful. Friday is supposed to be a nice way to ease yourself out of the week. It's the "lax" day.....Psshh. I think Friday is going to have to get a "memo" from Saturday re-explaining the rules.

I am now sipping a glass of wine and sitting comfortably in my housecoat.

I guess I'll post those pictures I took earlier in the week from the train ride....that'll give you all something to entertain yourselves with....

I need a place to live. I am getting nasty looks and shitty comments from the "Powers that be" at work. I need to move. I have to move. I can't wait anymore....*sigh* I don't have the time or transportation to come out on the weekends to search vancouver. If I book a place to look at, I have to stay 2 days and a night in Vancouver for a 15 minute showing. Get your ass out of my place people!

Plus there is that ever pesky cloud that hovers over the single and lonely.

Today I was eerily cheery. All day. Yesterday too...and the day before.

The euphoria is clashing with my finely honed brooding skills. Though, on the plus side, I've become rather punchy - which has heightened my witt.

Perhaps it was the free hooch this morning from Bryce, one of the animators. I mean really who doesn't like 2 bottles of free wine?!

Perhaps it was the counting system my Director has put me on. Apparently I only get 3 strikes. Today I only managed to get to number 2...the punishment involves a velcro strap....err wait.

That doesn't sound as innocent as the joke was originally intended.....

Well in any event I will ride the euphoric high....ever fearful of the impending other shoe.

Cold Sundays and warm tea.

I like Fall.

Well, after many months of pining I finally caved and purchased a digital camera, and Andy, I'd like to thank you for motivating me!

I spent most of Saturday dicking around with the thing and taking lost of ridiculous photos. Now, most of my friends use their blog to display their artwork, and since I am inept at drawing, I'll be sharing my photos with you...well, I'm excited!
